DVDxDV Pro está diseñado para restaurar el audio y video de DVDs a cualquier otro formato compatible con QuickTime. Si alguna vez has querido volver a editar el video, enviar un clip por internet, o reproducirlo en tu iPad, iPhone, iPod o iPod Touch, DVDxDV hace que este proceso sea fácil.
DVDxDV Pro permite a los usuarios de sistemas de edición de alta gama, como Final Cut Pro, Final Cut Express, iMovie, Premiere Pro o Avid Media Composer, extraer audio multicanal de alta calidad de DVDs. Cada canal individual en una pista de sonido puede ser exportado a un archivo de sonido AIFF de 24 bits separado. Además, DVDxDV Pro permite a los usuarios revertir el orden de campo entrelazado original de un DVD. DVDxDV Pro te permite capturar cualquier fotograma de un DVD y guardarlo en un archivo. Haz clic en la ventana de Vista Previa y arrastra el fotograma al escritorio o copia el fotograma al Portapapeles y úsalo en Photoshop, Vista Previa o cualquier software de edición de imágenes.

This program is good for people lacking general tech and codec knowledge; the interface is fairly simple, and in many scenarios will work fine. However, I would spend the time to learn how to use MPEG Streamclip as it can do everything this program does (batch exports, exporting user-set regions, etc.) and more (more output options, demuxing, etc.) at much better quality, and for free. My main reason for abandoning this product is the terrible way it handles deinterlacing: on several PAL sources, after fiddling with every setting possible, the resulting quicktimes were terrible quality: effectively the program was throwing out half of the resolution. I would like to recommend this program because of the simple interface, but on too many occasions I've been burned and gone back to MPEG Streamclip to do it right.

DVDxDV PRO does what it says and does it better then anyone else. I have used it for years. Their support team are really nice and fast at fixing issues i've had over the years.
Footage i have captured with DVDxDV Pro just works with FCP and footage have even been used for TV Broadcast. I can't praise it enough.

I read somewhere the developer tells us some pro studios are using this program. I would like to know which pro studio. I do not believe this.
I am a video editor for about 35 years. Got the whole analog to digital age and I am proud to say I have a lot experience regarding video editing both analog and digital. This program does not cut the bill on professional level. It has adequate problems with severe audio sync problems. It sometimes even time stretches the audio to keep up with the timecode. If this is done the right way it would be acceptable but I hear audio artifacts on some parts. That is not good.
Maybe it is workable for simple things but calling it a Pro application is not right.
